It's our first winter in Bodø, and I got to tell you people, it pretty darn cold. Yesterday and today we've had about -13 C degrees, which is very very cold, and the wind has been blowing 16 m per second. But no worries it all actually gets better. Yesterday we woke up to a pretty cold bedroom, 0 C. Looks like the walls are no help whatsoever in this old house, which I used to love until the winter came. From bad to worse, today when we got up and wanted to take a shower we figured out that there is absolutly NO WATER in the bathroom, and no hot water whatsoever in the whole apartment. Hurray this is going to be a great weekend; a cold bedroom, no water what next? Misfortune comes in threes, doesn't it?
Basicly I loved this apartment from the start, and I also love winter. Snow, wind etc. is just beautiful, AND "there is no bad weather, only bad clothing" - as we like to say here in Norway, BUT when your house is almost as cold as the outside, then something is very wrong. 'Cause that's not how it's supposed to be. After this "amazing" weekend I'm actually starting to agree with my boyfriend, that we should find a new place to live. I do really love this apartment, as I've already stated, but if every winter is going to be like this one, then I think we'll have to move, because I can't stand to have a cold apartment. 0 C inside is way too low.
Well this was it for now, I just had to get this of my chest. I still hope you're having a much better weekend then me.
